Chulalongkorn Clinical Research Center pharmacy service includes investigational products (IP) shipment receipt, storage, preparation, dispensation, IP return and IP destruction in accordance with ICH GCP and study protocol. Investigational products would be stored in a secure area with restricted access and managed by qualified pharmacists to ensure participant’s safety. Our pharmacists are responsible for dispensing IP to participants while providing protocol related instruction and counselling to obtain targeted medication compliance. Processes will be recorded in a timely manner and properly filed to maintain good documentation practice.

Our pharmacy unit provides an appropriate facility for IP storage in three conditions including controlled room temperature, refrigerator and freezer with 24 hours automatic temperature monitoring. Pharmacy room is also supported by an alarm system in case of an emergency. Temperature monitoring devices are regularly calibrated within scheduled periods in order to maintain accuracy and precision.
